[EN] Today we'll talk about Yaiza and Rui's wedding, our last event before de forced lockdowns imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Actually, we don't even know if we can say that they already can celebrate their paper wedding anniversary! They got married on the 29th February, which means that only 3 years from now they complete their first anniversary, right? Or is it in 36 months? 😅
Yaiza and Rui met each other in Greece, during 2010. They live in Barcelona, hometown of Yaiza. They wanted to get married at Guimarães because its Rui's hometown and also because Yaiza got in love with the city since she knew it. On their day, they wanted to work with 'local' people, both in Barcelona, as in Guimarães and the surrounding area! They love to travel, eat, sleep and enjoy time with their family and friends. One of them is simple and rational, and the other impulsive and intense and together they make a great team!
Searching for a simple and documental photographer and videographer, that works with passion and good taste, they found us. Since the first message we felt that we fit in their search and immediately we created a big empathy with them, and that is one of the best things we can have with a couple!
The venue was the wonderful Pousada Mosteiro de Guimarães, where the bride got ready together with her bridesmaids and family. The ceremony took place at one of the monastery salons, but not before a 'First Look' before tying the knot!
We witnessed a beautiful ceremony, with emotional speeches, smiles, tears and lots of laughs! During the day we didn't the wedding rings as it was another surprise prepared by them! We'll not say anything more, see for yourself! 👇
We had the chance to share this amazing experience with incredible vendors, since Rodrigo from The Must Studio to Dj Rui Almeida! Looking forward to return to these times of being all together and the act of giving a hug is one of the first things that comes to our mind!

[PT] Hoje vamos falar do casamento da Yaiza e do Rui, o nosso último casamento antes dos confinamentos impostos por esta pandemia! Na verdade, nem sabemos dizer se já completaram um ano. Casaram a 29 de Fevereiro, o que significa que só daqui a 3 anos é que completam o seu primeiro aniversário, certo? Como gerimos esta contagem? 😅
A Yaiza e o Rui conheceram-se na Grécia, corria o ano de 2010. Vivem em Barcelona, de onde a Yaiza é natural. Quiseram casar em Guimarães por ser a cidade natal do Rui e também porque a Yaiza ficou apaixonada pela cidade desde que a conheceu. Queriam, no dia do seu casamento, trabalhar com gentes "locais", tanto de Barcelona, como de Guimarães e arredores! Adoram viajar, comer, dormir, passar tempo com família e amigos. Um é simples e racional, outro impulsivo e intenso. Formam uma equipa que funciona muito bem!
Procuravam um registo simples, documental, feito com paixão e bom gosto. Desde logo sentimos que encaixávamos na sua procura e desde logo sentimos uma grande empatia com eles e isto é uma das melhores coisas que podemos criar com um casal!
Decidiram-se pela Pousada Mosteiro de Guimarães, onde decorreu a preparação da Yaiza, juntamente com as suas damas e a sua família. A cerimónia decorreu num dos salões do mosteiro, mas não sem antes presenciarmos um 'First Look' que os noivos decidiram fazer antes de darem o nó!
Presenciamos uma cerimónia lindíssima, com discursos emocionantes, sorrisos, choros e muitas gargalhadas! Durante o dia não encontramos as alianças, era mais uma surpresa que eles prepararam! Não vamos dizer mais nada, vejam por vocês mesmos! 👇
