[EN] During this quarantine and national emergency state, all of our abilities to stay away from those we love the most and to keep us mentally healthy are put to the test! We thought that at this stage, it would be very interesting to talk you about Sara and Nuno's wedding, which took place, precisely, at their own residence.
The times weren't these that we are living in, but those that we still had the possibility to make our choices without restrictions. Who would have thought that almost a year later we would be confined to our walls, and with this constant challenge of thinking what can we show you. As much as it costs for us to stay home, it is our space and where we are safe. So, as far as possible, stay home, stay safe!
Their wedding was at the beginning of last July. When we met them, they told us that their dream was to make the ceremony, reception and venue at their own backyard at Porto. We thought that this was a very cute idea and we were immediately excited and ready to hear all the other ideas that came up. We created a great empathy and they decided to schedule their celebration according to ours and Dilly Concept agenda.
I arrived at the beginning of the evening. Nuno received me and made me feel comfortable, like if I was at my own house. The last preparations were still in progress and there was a slight nervousness in the air. After some pictures of the fabulous decorations, I went to Sara who was in her room finishing some details. She dressed herself and for what she couldn't do, Nuno was there to help her. It was like a First Look that left me delighted!
The atmosphere was incredible and very intimate! It was all so simple, and so, but so beautiful.

[PT] Nestes dias de quarentena e estado de emergência nacional, são postas à prova todas as nossas capacidades de nos mantermos afastados de quem mais gostamos e de nos manter mentalmente sãos. Achamos que nesta fase seria muito interessante falar-vos do casamento da Sara e do Nuno que foi realizado, precisamente, na sua residência!
Os tempos não eram estes que estamos a viver, mas sim aqueles em que ainda tínhamos a possibilidade de fazer as nossas escolhas sem restrições. Quem diria que quase um ano volvido estaríamos todos confinados às nossas paredes, e com este desafio constante de pensar no que vos mostrar. Por mais que nos custe ficar por casa, é o nosso espaço e onde estamos em segurança. Por isso, na medida do possível, fiquem por casa, fiquem seguros!
O casamento deles foi no ano passado em meados de Julho.
Quando os conhecemos disseram-nos que o seu sonho seria realizar a cerimónia e a festa no quintal de sua casa, no Porto. Achamos a ideia muito gira e ficamos logo entusiasmados e prontos para ouvir todas as ideias que lhes surgiam. Criamos logo uma grande empatia com eles e decidiram agendar o seu casamento em função da nossa agenda e das Dilly Concept.
Cheguei lá já de tarde. O Nuno recebeu-me e deixou-me de imediato à vontade. Os últimos preparativos ainda estavam a decorrer e sentia-se um nervosismo pequenino no ar. Após alguns registos da maravilhosa decoração, fui ter com a Sara que estava no seu quarto aprontar os últimos detalhes. Ela vestiu-se sozinha e aquilo que não conseguia fazer o Nuno estava lá para a ajudar. Foi assim um "First Look" sem contar mas que me deixou deliciada.
O ambiente estava incrível e muito íntimo! Foi tudo tão simples e tão, mas tão bonito.
As fotografias que se seguem contam tudo o resto. Casamento de sonho, até para nós fotógrafos de casamento, não?
A nossa casa é onde está o nosso coração. Vai tudo ficar bem!
